Chairman of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Najam Sethi has requested the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to switch the name of the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to Edhi Stadium so that you can pay homage to the late philanthropist.

In a tweet, the 68-year old requested PCB’s Board of Governance (BoG) to approve his idea.

Previously, Sussex and Pakistan teams found a minute’s silence during their tour match whereas Misbah’s guys also wore black armbands as a way to pay tribute to Abdul Sattar Edhi, who passed away on Friday night after an extended struggle with kidney sickness.

The 88-year old was given a state funeral in recognition of his services for the country for over six decades.
