PTI Chief Imran Khan to lead mass campaign against PMLN over Panama Paper leaks

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Khan declared that his countrywide mass mobilisation effort would begin against Prime Minister for resisting investigation into the Panamagate leaks from August 7, reports the Dawn.

“It will be an awareness campaign, making the masses conscious of the fact how the ruling family has robbed this country and now when caught red-handed is refusing a free and fair probe,” said Khan

Khan warned that if Prime Minister Sharif continued to defy the investigation, the exact same effort could turn into sitin or another kind from rallies.

The government has refused a couple of terms of reference presented to it for establishing the Panama inquiry commission that was planned by the opposition parties.

At a meeting the opposition parties refused to hold further discussions with the authorities on the problem and called for an unbiased investigation into the Panama Documents leaks.
