Taylor Swift is the world’s highest-paid star, pulling in a whopping $170 million over the previous year, Forbes magazine said on Monday.

She out-brought in other well-known musicians including Adele ($80.5 million), Madonna ($76.5 million), Rihanna ($75 million) and Bruce Springsteen ($60.5 million).

The Shake It Off vocalist also outpaced pop vocalist Katy Perry who was last year’s top-getting musician at $135 million, based on Forbes magazine’s annual list of 100 highest-paid stars.

From India, Akshay Kumar and Hindi film celebrities Shahrukh Khan made it. While, the ‘King Khan’ is rated 86 with $33 million gains, the action hero Kumar rated 94 ($31.5 million).

Jennifer Lawrence was the sector’s highest-paid performer for the second straight year, bringing in a slight fall in the $52 million, $46 million.

Perry dropped to number 63 on the list of this year, bringing in a mere $41 million.

“The world’s 100 highest-paid stars pulled in $5.1 billion pretax over the previous 12 months, more than the GDP of Belize, Gambia and Bhutan joined,” Forbes said.

Magazine editor Zack O’Malley Greenberg said live entertainment is still a significant cash draw.

“From football matches in Spain to concerts in China, enthusiasts will willingly shell out to see big names – and this is driving the star market to ever greater heights,” he said in a statement.
