Turkish officials say the hectic Ataturk International Airport of Istanbul has reopened, hours after three suicide bombers killed 36 and wounded 147.
Turkish Airline’s web site says “flight operations are restarted” and instructs passengers to track real flight info.
Germany’s top security official is condemning the assault on Istanbul’s airport as “cowardly and savage.”
De Maiziere said in a statement Wednesday he was “profoundly shocked by the cowardly and savage assault on Istanbul’s airport.”
He says “terrorism has yet again revealed its ugly face and innocent people have lost their lives.”
