Sunjay Kapur’s divorce and Karisma Kapoor has experienced headlines for quite a while and has just got murkier. The alienated couple had filed for divorce on common approval in 2014, however they haven’t reached any decision yet. Karisma’s sister Kareena Kapoor has consistently kept silence on the entire problem. But during among the promotional occasions of her forthcoming movie, Ka And Ki, Kareena has opened up about Karisma’s divorce.

In a interview with Hindustan Times, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan performer has said,  “It’s a difficult time for her and it is tough. I have never really spoken about it. I am very protective about my sister. I hold her with too much respect and regard. Whatever has been written about it or whatever has been said about her, both Karisma and I have never said anything, and I would like to always maintain that.”

Kareena and Karisma have ruled countless hearts using their screen presence. And in such challenging period of Karisma’s life, Kareena has taken a stand.

The two have two kids, a daughter Samaira and son Kiaan and tied the knot.
