So depressed! It is not clear what his cause of death was, but Scott was just 48 years old.

This can be a serious rock ‘n roll disaster with news that former Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland has been discovered dead while on tour together with The Wildabouts & his group Scott Weiland. Scott was found dead aboard his tour bus shortly before the group was to take the stage, although they were assumed to play in the Medina Ballroom in suburban Minneapolis.

He did some moonlighting, singing Velvet Revolver alongside members of Guns n Roses from 2003 to 2008.

STP drove the tide of grunge rock in the time that the music arena was altering, and got their first big break together with the launch of the debut record Core. The group continued to perform on and off until 2013, when Scott was fired by members of the remaining part of the group after much internal strife.

Scott and substance abuse problems had fought for a long time, admitted to using booze and cocaine as early as his teen years when he was only starting up as a musician. He was arrested in 2007 and 2003, having a visit to rehabilitation in 2008. He spent time in both New York and CA in jail on the years for numerous drug arrests.

Wife Jamie Wachtel, who he wed in 2013 is left behind by Scott. He also got two kids together with his ex wife model Mary Forsburg, son Noah, 15, 13, and daughter Lucy.

Our thoughts are with Scott’s family and friends only at that time. Share you feelings about his passing in the remarks below.
