Salman wanted the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ cross borders

Now in a time when art and film have now been dragged into the politics between both nations, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming family drama “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” will even reach the screens in Pakistan on the exact same day as in India.

A spokesperson of “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” said: “‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ observes togetherness in a family. We’re happy that the movie will be releasing in Pakistan as well as our neighbours will probably manage to relish the film.”

Salman had before told IANS he wanted the film to cross boundaries. Now, he’s all the motives to be joyful.

The actor feels cinema is a “strong medium”, with the power to usher in an alteration. He explained: “The medium is truly strong. We can do a lot with this medium. This is our tool along with lots of individuals value good cinema and great characters. Movies are watched by everyone also it has a massive effect on people’s life, as well as on society. I think there’s no format a lot better than film”.

“Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” unfolds a new and royal chapter about love and family ties, painted on a ‘larger than life’ sailcloth with music and dance weaving a ‘desi’ fantastical story. Salman is also brought by the movie together with Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years.
