SCOOP! Kareena Kapoor Khan Rejects Another Film With Ranveer Singh

According to reports, Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor were recently approached for the remake of the Sridevi-Kamal Haasan starrer Sadmathat was being planned by ad-filmmaker Llyod Baptista.

But apparently Bebo has already declined the project. She went on record to say, “I was approached for the film but I am not doing that film.”

And when Ranveer was asked about the development at an event, he apparently joked and said, “Yeh sun ke mujhe sadma aa gaya.”

A source was quoted saying, “The makers planned the sequel keeping Kareena in mind. It’s her character that drives the film so the female protagonist is very important in the film. Sridevi had nailed her part in the original and the team felt Bebo’s the only actress of the current generation who can bring in the depth and drama to the table. So after she informed them that she wasn’t doing the film, the makers decided to put the film on hold for the time being.”

Bebo and Ranveer were the original choice for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela but she opted out and the film went to Deepika Padukone. We wonder if the two will ever pair up!
