SERIOUS ISSUE! Udta Punjab Denied Certification by CBFC Over Use of Abusive Language

People went gaga over the topic of the movie and its celebrities when the first preview of Udta Punjab released. But one did detect the usage of expletives in the film and wondered how it would cope with CBFC.

And things do not appear to be good for the Abhishek Chaubey picture as it has courted controversy on Thursday. Certification has been refused by the CBFC to the film for the usage of abusive language.

Udta Punjab deals with the problem of drug abuse and stars Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead and releases on June 17, 2016.

We wonder what the team of Udta Punjab has to react to this.
