Bollywood ‘Badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan, among the performers internationally popular, continues to be encouraged to give a lecture to students of the University of Edinburgh, UK.

“The university is to host a visit by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday, 15 October. The actor, one of Bollywood’s most popular stars, will give a public lecture at the University’s New College,” read a statement on the university’s official website.

Having a career spanning over two plus a half decades, Shah Rukh Khan in addition has reached out to crowds via the little display, and has appeared in over 80 Bollywood movies. The performer, known for movies like Baazigar, Darr, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Jab Tak Hai Jaan, was given one of India’s highest civilian awards, the Padma Shri, in 2005.The University of Edinburgh continues to be connected with India for almost 250 years, and its own officials are pleased to encourage Shah Rukh, who’s now active shooting Dilwale. “The University of Edinburgh has quite strong ties with India and I’m pleased that we can welcome among the very most spectacular stars of world film,” said Charlie Jeffery, senior vice principal, University of Edinburgh.
