Shesha is back to sizzle on screen! Adaa Khan signs the dotted lines to play Shesha once again!

Adaa Khan has signed on the dotted line to play the sultry yet wicked Shesha in Naagin season 2. Adaa formalized her contract. There was speculation that her character Shesha is not going to be there in season 2 with Mouni Roy. The story will now open with Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) and Shivanya’s (Mouni Roy) daughter affirming to avenge her parents’ passing and this role will be played by Mouni Roy just. In October, Naagin season 2 will established along with Big Boss on October 16. After the thanda TRPs of 24 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, the channel is looking to bring back some zing in weekend programming.

Shakti Arora currently seen in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa will be new main lead of Naagin 2, while Arjun Bijlani is not going to be seen in season 2. As the new season will go on air in October the shoot of Naagin 2 will begin. Mouni Roy is focusing on her new look, which is very different from what she played as Shivanya. Adaa will play Shesha just and will be the Maasi of Mouni Roy.

Meanwhile, casting is one for other characters also .The show will take the same slot of Kavach on Colors. The opening episode will be an outside shoot planned by director Santram Verma and producer Ekta Kapoor.
Naagin made history in the since that it retained its top standing till its end on the TRP charts. It triggered a number of new shows off and gave TV new notions about the supernatural genre.
This was her hottest show that she had done till date.

While producer of the show Ekta Kapoor was considering having new faces in Naagin 2 original cast was insisted on by the channel. After the lukewarm response to Kavach, this time Colours doesn’t desire to take any chances. Other show that is supernatural is ’sed by Ekta Kapoor, Brahmarakshas is also doing quite well on TRP graphs.

So, Naagin returns this Diwali in a younger and avatar that is innovative with appearance and new family.
