After over four years of dating, Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst have split and ended their intimate relationship. The news may come as a surprise to fans who recently saw the couple step out together. In reality, the pair smiled big for the cameras while attend FOX’s award show bash earlier this season.

The Fargo star also had nothing but kind things, last summer. In a interview with Town & Country, the actress was quick to say things were going “extremely well” between each other.

“We are the same age. We have similar histories,” she shared together with the publication. “He feels like family in my experience.”

If that was not enough, the actress admitted that she was thinking of getting pregnant after being surrounded by a few moms to be.

“I’m in baby style because two of my really good friends are pregnant right now,” she confessed to Red U.K.

Garrett afterwards acknowledged that their first date on an early morning canoe ride was not exactly smooth sailing. “It wasn’t a secure canoe,” he confessed.

But, do not stress. He finally had another opportunity partly because he had many qualities that Kirsten looked for in a guy.

“I appreciate old-fashioned manner,” she recently shared with Net-A-Porter’s The Edit. “I want a guy to buy dinner and open the door for me personally. I love the manly.”
