Sadhana Shivdesani, who had been a part of several evergreen movies, passed away on Friday at Hinduja hospital. The cremation will take from her Santacruz home. The performer was formerly a year ago for suffering from a tumour. She got a successful operation for exactly the same and apparently had a small lesion in her mouth which was cancerous.
Understood for movies like Wo Kaun Thi Mera Saaya and Waqt, the celebrated performer made the fringe festival Sadhana cut hairdo a favorite choose quite a long time.
A producer when she was 15 years old, who’d seen her performance in a school play approached Sadhana. She was paid a nominal sum of 1 rupee.
Sadhana had health problems because of her thyroid, which she got treated in a hospital in Boston.
Afterwards, her husband and she formed a production business. She also directed a film starring Dimple Kapadia in 1989.
