Authorities have searched the house of a guy accused of carrying out the worst mass killing in decades of Japan, at a care home for those who have mental handicaps.

A former worker of the facility in Sagamihara west of Tokyo, Satoshi Uematsu, stabbed at 19 individuals on Tuesday to death, say authorities.

He’d previously sent letters to politicians threatening to kill hundreds of people that were disabled.

The 26-year old turned himself into authorities after the assault.

Authorities quoted him as saying he’d assaulted those who were not able to convey their feelings, broadcaster NHK reported.
