SYRIA CRISIS! International meeting for Syria cease-fire cancelled, Russia says

A meeting of the international organizing group charged with executing a ceasefire was cancelled Russia’s foreign ministry said, raising additional questions regarding the work ability of the truce and delaying any decrease of hostilities.

The cancellation indicates another drawback for international attempts to broker an end to some civil war that and turned millions has killed 250,000 people, displaced into a dangerous proxy battle for world powers.

Nevertheless, U.S. and Russian military officials did hold an unannounced bilateral meeting Friday morning, the Reuters news agency reported from Geneva.
