So it was a natural choice that Bips was picked to host Darr Sabko Lagta Hai, the mini horror series. The show was a success and its second season is about to get under way but having an ill-fated news.
Apparently, the Bengali siren is not going to be anchoring the show anymore. In the initial season, Bips used to do narration and hosting between episodes. Many claim that she was a big part of the success of the show.
But it seems the approaching season is not going to have an anchor format whatsoever. The focus will probably be more on chills, thrills and horror than everything else. Tigmanshu Dhulia will probably function as the creator of the season and he has ambitious plans for Darr Sabko Lagta Hai. He succeeds Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK who were the creators of the 26 episode horror fest.
Tigmanshu needs to make more narrative oriented episodes and up the shock value. Only time will tell if this new format is going to be successful or not. But it’s definitely disappointing to know that the Raaz star will not be a part of it.
