Ndamukong Suh the American 28 years old football defensive tackle is going to sign for about $114 million over six years with $60 million guaranteed as Chris Mortensen said.
He attended the University of Nebraska and played for the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team from 2005 to 2009.
Suh cleared that nothing going to be official until tuesday but the surprise will be when Sue get about $60 million while Teams and players have been allowed to negotiate since Saturday. Rumors of the Dolphins being Suh’s destination have been floating about before then and The detroit Free Press obvious that the Lions offered $17 million per year with $58 million guaranteed, but that was trumped by Miami by about $2 million per year.
It turns out that Sue is really not hitting the open market at all although he was considered to be the best defensive free agents to hit the open market.
Suh’s massive salary in 2014 made the move incredibly expensive and the Lions could use the franchise tag on Suh. The Lions had dead money on the 2015 books for Suh, in the amount of $9.7 million, so he would have been owed a 120 percent of his 2014 salary, putting his 2015 cost at just over $25 million.
