As always Shah Rukh Khan declear as the sultan of Bollywood and beat Salman Khan to win the Sultan title in a recent poll. It was King Khan who emerged as the winner in this survey while Salman’s picture with Anushka Sharma garnered lots of respect from fans and minted cash also at the box office.
Mahira Khan was considered one lucky gal when of her romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Raees news made headlines. Mahira being a die hard SRK fan was super thrilled to debut opposite the King of Romance in Bollywood. She would be joining the likes of Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, who also were lucky to have bagged their first film opposite Shah Rukh. However Mahira’s movie is stuck. This year Raees was to release this Eid, and there was conversation and disagreement about Salman Khan and SRK’s major battle at the box office. Raees got driven to early next year but has failed to find a release date.
Mahira was hoping for a fantastic kick-start in Bollywood with Shah Rukh Khan’s this movie, but now we discover the celebrity’ sentiments towards her grand introduction has transformed. A source disclosed, “Mahira has been getting offers that were interesting but she has signed a contract with the Raees manufacturers from taking on any new work in Bollywood until the release of the movie that stops her.” Well, we bet that’s not simply an embarrassing but also a situation that is very tricky for this Pakistani beauty.
On Eid in 2013, SRK during an interaction with the media affirmed that his film has failed to find a release date. The Lover performer is eyeing for January 26, 2017 which Hrithik’s Kaabil has already pronounced as their picture’s release date. The Republic Day weekend would be a great time for any large budget film to release, the same as Eid and it’s also not surprising to see Roshan Jr is unwilling to budge.
Hrithik during Mohenjo Daro‘s promotion in Mumbai kept a non committal position on delaying his Sanjay Gupta movie to adapt SRK’s Raees. Today pictures of King Khan seeing the Roshan’s dwelling in Juhu has become the discussion of B-town. This really is the first time Shah Rukh has truly gone to another star’s dwelling to sort out professional issues.
Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan used to be pals. We talk in past tense just because this doesn’t hold true. Well, they’ren’t enemies, but there’s definitely no love lost between Duggu and SRK.
A source reveals, “SRK and Hrithik hardly talk or meet socially. They have fallen apart and now the spat is becoming public. But Shah Rukh is still very fond of his dad Rakesh Roshan with whom he’s worked in Karan Arjun and Koyla. Now that their films are clashing things are only looking downhill.”
This indicates that whatever conversation is occurring encompassing the Kaabil and Raees conflict is between SRK and Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan. There’s no clear dialogue as of now between Shah Rukh and Hrithik.
Sources indicate that a clash between Raees and Kaabil is inevitable as of now as filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is adamant that he won’t shift the film even by a day. “As of now its a stalemate situation as neither SRK nor Hrithik are planning to compromise.”
Whole of 2015 we read up and shared everything about the epic clash between Shah Rukh Khan‘s Raees and Salman Khan‘s Sultan on Eid 2016. Nothing could get bigger than that because both of them are humongous stars. They have an enviable fan following. We were busy trying to figure out how much each film would earn. And suddenly SRK pushed the release of Raees to January 26, 2017. That set the tune for yet another clash and this time Badshah is ready to take on Hrithik Roshan. Raees will now clash with Kaabil but it seems the last night meeting with Rakesh Roshan might turn the tide in SRK’s favour. The actor’s tweet also hints towards it.
During Eid celebrations at Mannat, SRK had revealed, “We have spoken to Hrithik and also Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (producers of Raees). That was a month ago, but I guess now we can do some adjustments. Rakeshji (Kaabil producer Rakesh Roshan) and Ritesh and Farhan will be meeting again. We are trying to figure things out, so we don’t have a clash.” Two big films clashing affect everyone, that’s a given and guess the superstar is doing everything in his power to avert it. He met Hrithik and his father at their residence yesterday, the pictures of which we have shared with you. SRK and Roshan sr go back many years. Karan Arjun and Koyla had Rakesh Roshan directing the King Khan. And it seems he means a lot to SRK. He tweeted about the meeting saying, “Met friend/mentor/family after many a days.Mr. R.Roshan reminded me…it’s not important to do 2 much, it’s important to get 1 right. Thx sir.” It shows how much gratitude the actor feels for the filmmaker and it also hints at a possible consensus that can be reached between the two. It’s a hopeful message as well and makes us believe that the Roshans might think about deferring the release Kaabil.
But then there is director Sanjay Gupta to take into account who had previously announced on Twitter like a boss, “Dear All KAABIL releases on Jan 26, 2017. Absolutely no change in date.Hope this clears all unnecessary rumours. Warm regards.” LOUD AND CLEAR!

Shah Rukh Khan‘s last few ventures haven’t done quite the business that is great that his star power generally brings. The truth is, Buff did not create magic at the box office though the celebrity’s performance was laudable! Yet, Raees has hooked devotees to Shah Rukh as they’re very much getting excited about the Rahul Dholakia film. We’ve already seen a teaser of the movie and it has raised lots of expectations from fans and critics as well. Thanks to the unpreventable clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan, Baadshah of Bollywood had to transfer the release date to next year, although, the movie was supposed to release at Eid.
That, however, put him in new perils of conflict as the movie has yet another clash but this time with Hrithik Roshan‘s Kaabil. It’s a directorial venture of Sanjay Gupta that’s made by Rakesh Roshan and stars Hrithik and Yami Gautam in lead. The filmmakers as well as star actors are at loggerheads currently as neither of them need to budge. With yet another clash with another powerhouse actor (i.e. Shah Rukh Khan) Roshan is fairly disturbed.
While Salman Khan‘s Sultan is breaking records one after the other, the picture that went to accommodate it, is finding it hard to get a release that is good. Yes, we are referring to Shah Rukh Khan‘s Raees. The film was going to clash nevertheless Raees backed out, after discussions. The makers subsequently announced that they would release on January 26, 2017. This meant the movie featuring SRK and Ajay Devgn’s Baadshaho and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, would clash. While the latter proceeded into a later release, Kaabil‘s director Sanjay Gupta mentioned that their movie is just not going to move its release date.
Yet, during a recent media interaction, Shah Rukh Khan proposed that they’re negotiating to resolve this problem. A month back Hrithik has been spoken to by us and because their film has just began, it can be potential. Farhan Rakesh ji, Hrithik and Ritesh are discussing discussing will meet soon to figure a method out that we don’t clash.” Post this, Hrithik had also mentioned, “we’re performers and we should leave this to the producers.”
And to settle this face off between Kaabil and Raees, Shah Rukh seems to have seen Hrithik’s house. According to Pinkvilla, SRK wanted so the star was spotted at Hrithik’s Juhu house and to talk things out with Hrithik. The two chatted for about 5 hours, after.
Shah Rukh Khan also confirmed this bit of advice when he tweeted, “Met buddy/mentor/family after many a days.Mr. R. Roshanreminded me…it’s not important to do 2 much, it’s significant to get 1 right. Thx mister.”
5 hours of conversation is a lot and we hope they might have negotiated a way out so that both the movies get a good release and both the movies do well. Yet, SRK didn’t mention if any conclusion was reached. Watch and we are going to have to wait for either of them to make a statement.
