Celebrity Kareena Kapoor Khan, who starred alongside Bollywood star Salman Khan in 2015 hit “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, says she feels “proud” to be a part of the movie, that continues to be selected to get a National Film Award.

“It is among the best movies of its own time. It talked a lot about support, love, humanity and integrity. It was amazing working with Kabir (Khan) and Salman (Khan), who really believed in the script and got it happen,” Kareena said in the press conference of her upcoming movie “Ki & Ka”.

A National Award honour is an “encouragement” for Salman Khan Pictures, which stepped into creation together with the film.

“Salman Khan Pictures is pleased to win the National Award and get this acknowledgement in the government of India for our movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. This really is our first movie below the banner which is an enormous encouragement for us, as well as for the vision that people have for it,” said Amar Butala, COO, Salman Khan Pictures.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently active using the next schedule of Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’. Recently the actor was seen shooting for the same in Bhuj. SRK appeared charming as ever in white kurta and stubbled appearance. In her undercover policeman avatar Nawazuddin Siddiqui was clicked on the other hand. Set in 1980s Gujarat, the film tells the story of a bootlegger whose business is thwarted with a tough policeman played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The movie is slated to hit the theatrical screens and will lock horns at the box office with Salman Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’.

So Bhuj airport was arrived at by SRK yesterday amidst a huge media frenzy. He was accompanied by his son, AbRam Khan.

The star will in shoot for his next movie, Raees along with his co-stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and celebrity Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Bhuj. The team will shoot in various locales of the city for a week.

The story of Raees is based on 1980s decade Ahmedabad-based bootlegger and mafia Abdul Latif’s life.

The movie is slated for an Eid launch this season and will see SRK in a grey character following a decade.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s come quite a distance in his career, but the success has not gone to his head. The truth is, he is now more worried than ever before he plays. This attempt is making him insecure.

But I understood I was an actor.”

Yet, as time passed, Nawazuddin’s insecurities transformed. Previously, he was concerned about getting parts and today he’s worried about selecting the most appropriate ones: “Business structure mein hi insecurity hai….Convention hi insecurity wala hai. Once I used to be looking to create my way in, about 70% pictures had the exact same storyline — a heroine, a hero along with a villain. There was barely anything for anyone. I used to be not secure about getting work. The insecurity differs now.”

The Mountain Man garnering plenty of success, the insecurity is all about about his character changing his viewers: “Now, the insecurity is: in case the character will make its mark on the crowd or not. It is vital the character makes its mark.”

In spite of the acclaim he’s received, 41-year old Nawazuddin stays poor and has received more than he’d envisioned: “Jitna socha tha usse zyada mila. All I needed was to get work — display-time of the character did not matter to me. I am an actor and I needed to work — be it in, movies, theater or TV,” says Nawaz who’ll shortly be sharing screen space with Shahrukh Khan in Raees.
