The first of the seven major comic book movies which can be set to land in cinemas in 2016 is the long-awaited X-Men spin-off, Deadpool.

Inside it, Ryan Reynolds will probably be reprising the title role, that he played in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have penned the screenplay for the film, and Tim Miller is directing.

Ryan Reynolds has been active promoting the film on his Twitter feed, and he is used it to shed a new image in the picture also. Here, he’s wanting to connect with Negasonic Teenage Warhead, as played by Brianna Hildebrand.

Deadpool is released in the UK on Friday 5th February 2016. We’ll have more on it before then, though.
