Celebrity Shahid Kapoor and his wife are in mummy daddy to be stage these days. Based on a report in a tabloid, the infant will be arriving in mid- September before Rangoon releases. Wow this turns out to be a refreshing news today.

Shahid is keeping a close eye on his wonderful wife Mira since it’s their first kid. A source close to the couple informs the tabloid, “She has started getting cravings for particular kinds of food and he makes sure to indulge her. He has also been accompanying her for visits to the doctor and when they are out, he doesn’t let go of her hand or leave her side.”

Mira has her family there and hails from Delhi, one wonders if the delivery will happen in the Capital city or in Mumbai itself, since doting husband Shahid and his family is here. “That’s a call that they will take later. As of now they are just relieved that Mira is bloom ing through her pregnancy. In fact, Preity (Zinta) congratulated her on her glow when they were at the reception to wish her and husband Gene Goodenough,” reveals the source.

Guesses around Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput being pregnant have been going around for quite sometime now. While there clearly was no evidence on the same, a post by designer Masaba Gupta recently on her instagram page, ignited the debate further.

Masaba had posted a graphic with Mira and also the caption read, “Two M’s and a Bum ##sayheytobey small M (sic).”A source close to the couple affirmed to a popular tabloid that

Mira is indeed pregnant. The source told, “She is in her second trimester, midway through her pregnancy.”Another source confirmed to us the same. The source said, “Mira is expecting a baby soon.”

Well, now that the cat’s from the bag, here’s wishing hearty congratulations to Shahid and Mira both! Exciting times ahead for the lovely couple! Is not it?

Our day couldn’t have started on a better note. A leading news portal has just carried this report stating Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput are expecting their first child. Yes! Although an official confirmation on the same is yet to be made. But it’s believed that the much-in-love couple is all ready to enter this new phase in life. Shahid Kapoor turns 35 tomorrow, February 25th, plus it appears that wife Mira Rajput has a surprise planned for him!

According to a report in Mid-Day, Mira is going all out to organize a massive surprise for Shahid, particularly considering it is his first birthday when they tied the knot.

She apparently has a party planned, and has encouraged close friends and Shahid’s family – only the way he prefers it, we are confident. Earlier, for Mira’s birthday, Shahid had posted one of their wedding photos on Instagram and later revealed that her gift was getting to watch Shaandaar.

He also threw a small party in their Juhu pad for her, and invited her buddies. See this space, because we can not wait to know what her surprise for him is!

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor had the wedding of the year – and they’re definitely strong contenders for the Couple Of The Year title too. I mean, why are they so adorable at all times?

Shahid started smoking some time in 2008. He was shooting for Kismat Konnection at the time. Apparently, Mira hated the habit and really wished for Shahid to kick the butt. You know what Shahid did about that? He quit smoking! If this isn’t love, I don’t know what is.

Not too long ago, we’d heard that Katrina Kaif had gotten Ranbir Kapoor to stop smoking too. She even took him to a special health-centre in Austria to help him quit.
