Taylor Swift has filed a counterclaim who is suing the vocalist over allegations he groped her backstage at concert.
David Mueller said he was fired from his job at KYGO in Denver – but claims the alleged assault was committed by one.
Legal documents from Swift’s attorneys reveal the singer just accuses Mr Mueller.
She was said to be “surprised, upset, offended, and dismay” he grabbed her bottom in a pre-show meet-and-greet.
“Mueller’s newfound claim he is the ‘wrong man’ and, hence, his termination from KYGO was unjustified, is specious,” wrote Swift’s lawyers in the legal documents.
“Ms Swift knows exactly who perpetrated the assault – it was Mueller.”
Swift’s counterclaim comes after she was sued by Mr Mueller in US District Court in Denver. He said an associate of the security team of the singer had accused him of groping her at the Pepsi Center on 2 June 2013.
However, Swift’s attorneys added that Mr Mueller “didn’t just brush his hand against the singer while posing for a photo, but lifted up her skirt.”
Swift’s publicist released a statement soon after she was sued by Mueller last month, saying the radio host’s company was given evidence after the event and made its own decision to fire him.
