Photographer David Stewart has won the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize for a shot of his daughter sitting with four of her close friends.
Second spot went to Anoush Abrar’s photograph of a young lad.
A picture by Pete Zelewski of a girl near the Oxford Street in London came third.
All of the winning photographs will go on display at the National Portrait Gallery in London until February.
Stewart’s winning shot is a followup into a picture he took of the buddies seven years earlier, only before they were to begin their GCSEs.
