The Bigg Boss 9 promo starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan got into trouble when Hindu Mahasabha filed against it a plea, for hurting religious opinions of a portion of the society.
As Delhi police has told the court that promo did not mean to hurt religious sentiments, but now, the case is building a brand new development.
No offence was made out against the the two actors.
The whole nation was super excited when the news of celebs Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan reuniting on television came out.
The event was promotion of Shah Rukh- Kajol starrer Dilwale along with the medium was Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss 9.
A line up of cool and amusing promos was started for the mega-event. And that’s what got the two super stars in trouble.
One of the promos had the actors re-creating the scene out of their popular picture Karan Arjun inside a temple.
Even though it had been done over a chroma keyed screen, Bharat Rajput, president of the Meerut unit of Hindu Mahasabha filed a plea from the makers and celebrities for wearing shoes in the temple.
Mr Rajput called this insensitive and maintained that he also wrote to the producers of the show regarding the same, and failed to receive nay response.
