SINGAPORE — Asia Pacific millionaires are set to become the planet ‘s most loaded this year, a report said Wednesday, September 16, driven mainly by rich people in China and India.
HNWIs are those with investible cash of at least $1 million apart from your worth of other collectibles as well as their own homes.
“Looking farther forward, HNWI wealth is likely to grow more in Asia Pacific than in every other area of the planet, with much of the newest riches anticipated to come in the emerging markets of China, India, Indonesia, and Thailand,” the companies’ Asia Pacific Wealth Report 2015 said.
“China and India, specifically, have propelled Asia-Pacific HNWI wealth increase recently and so are likely to carry on to become key drivers both in the area and internationally.”
The report said India and China represent almost 10% of international HNWI wealth and accounted for 17% of the world-wide upsurge in riches that was new since 2006.
Worldwide, India recorded the most rapid rate of increase in the total number of millionaires — China and India, specifically, have propelled Asia-Pacific HNWI wealth increase recently and so are likely to carry on to become key drivers both in the area and internationally — 26.3% to 198,000 — while overall riches soared 28.2% to $785 billion, the report included.
He added that “despite some recent economical problems, the area ‘s riches is likely to lead international growth.”
