Top fashion award, Victoria is up

London – Pop star-turned-fashion mogul Victoria Beckham is among three designers nominated for a top honour at the British Fashion Awards.

Awards will be granted by the Officials of the British Fashion Council at the awards ceremony in London on 23 November, Christopher Kane, J.W. and Beckham.

Anderson are up for Womenswear Designer prize.

The award is the most prestigious to be given out at the event, and previous winners including design icons Dame Vivienne Westwood, John Galliano, Stella Mccartney, and the late Alexander MCQueen.

Mick Jagger’s daughter Georgia May Jagger has been nominated for the Model accolade, while MCCartney is up for the top Brand award.

Beckham, who found her eponymous fashion line in 2008, beaten the Designer Brand of the Year award in 2011 and 2014.
