Katrina Kaif has consistently been in news more because of her personal reasons than her professional life.
The Fitoor celebrity is gearing Baar Baar Dekho, for her forthcoming release. The film also stars Sidharth Malhotra in the lead part. Katrina’s costar Sidharth believes that her split with Ranbir is given an excessive amount of importance. Within an interview with a leading daily, the Brothers performer also told around when the ice was first broken between him and Kat.
“There’s too much importance given on her relationship, her split and it should just end now. She is fabulous in the film and her work will speak for her,” said Sidharth.
He further said, “Yes it was pretty easy as soon as we met. As an actor when we do a love story it is necessary to know your co actor because we pretending to fall in love and especially in this film we are not pretending to fall in love, we are in love since eight years old. So you needed to have that familiarity. So before shoot we did workshops, in the first workshop I just had to sit in front of her and stare into her eyes for 15 minutes which was a great job to do, to stare at Katrina Kaif….she was the one who blinked first (Laughs). That’s how the ice broke the we did Masti and all the other scenes. I discovered how hardworking Katrina is, the one positive quality that she has is that she does not take her position, experience for granted and this is a commendable quality and the reason for where she is.”
