Update: Facebook CEO announces investigation into anti-conservative bias

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg reacted to accusations its business’s “trending” issues conservative media was being suppressed by list, Thursday saying the company was running an investigation.

No signs of alleged exploitation was discovered, but you’ve got my commitment that we are going to take added measures to address it if we locate anything against our principles,” Zuckerberg wrote in a Facebook post.

Technology news outlet Gizmodo reported that a former Facebook worker alleged that posts from outlets that were conservative — especially when written about issues that were conservative — were intentionally omitted from Facebook’s sidebar of stories that were popular.
