Prince Harry clicked during a close encounter with US athlete Elizabeth Marks on the third day of the Invictus games in Orlando Florida, as he awarded her gold medal.
Right after the ceremony, the swimmer ask him to come back and instead pressed the medal into his hand, asking him to pass it on to the Papworth heart and lung hospital in Cambridgeshire.
Firstly he refused the proposal and she approach him again and this time his ans was positive.
The 25-year-old’s soldier’s were thankful to British hospital’s medical team for saving her life in 2014 on the eve of the first Invictus Games after she became gravely ill, collapsed with a serious lung condition and was put into an induced coma.
She told the Paralympics’ Team USA website how the day before the team flew out of Washington, D.C., she lost her voice but although she wasn’t feeling her best, she didn’t feel terrible and attributed it to doing too many interviews.
However, by the time the plane landed in London, however, she couldn’t breathe and was taken to the Royal London Hospital and admitted for what they believed was pneumonia.
