Very few actresses make a mark in all Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood. The very delightful Amy Jackson can proudly claim to be an associate of that bracket.

The British import with the most cunning laughter had been making many of our youth her die-hard devotees, notably from the day I was released. Despite the fact that she’d made her introduction much before this Shankar-directed fantasy film, she had played in quite a few number of pictures, having made her debut with Madrasapattinam, opposite Arya in a Titanic-style love story. In her debut movie, she’d this pretty next door kind of image. But in I, she drop that picture for a much hotter one, blowing every one’s thoughts with her ravishing beauty, especially in the songs.

Now she’s all set to act opposite Rajinikanth in the much hoped-for sci-fi movie, 2.O. The movie is the sequel to the 2010 blockbuster, Enthiran/Robot, and also stars Akshay Kumar in an adverse character.

In an recent interview she said: “It was an honour working with actors like Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Freaky Ali). Rajinikanth is very humble on sets, and he doesn’t behave that he has worked in 280 films.” She also revealed that Thalaiva would enthrall her with stories of his professional life.

While AR Rahman scores the music for the exact same Rajinikanth will again play double role in the movie.

Sohail Khan directs the film and presented by Salman Khan. Amy Jackson was supposed to function as lead in Salman Khan’s Kick, which didn’t occur because she decided to be a part of I. Being a part of Freaky Ali will definitely open a window of opportunity for her to act with Salman Khan in the near future, with rumours already abuzz that she’s being approached for Dabanng 3.

Amy Jackson made her Bollywood debut a remake of his own Tamil hit, with Gautham Menon’s Ekk Deewana Tha, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya. Prateik Babbar was the hero of the movie, before that split happened, and they were also supposedly dating each other in real life at the same time. She was also part of the Akshay Kumar’s 2015 success, Singh is Bliing, where she played his heroine.
