Katrina shared a video saying, “So, I’m here. Be nice!! It’s my birthday…wish me well.” And look, she’s already crossed 3 million on Facebook. Can you believe it? We just stalked her on page to see if she’s put anything else and there she is, with almost 3.5 million likes in her kitty. Now isn’t that awesome? That too when you know she created this page just 12 hours back. Way to go girl!

Talking about her notion to join social media, Katrina within an interview with TOI said, “I have come to the conclusion that there are some things that are best said yourself. Yes, I have been wary of social media for really long, and I have even voiced my concerns about it, but it is good to do things in life that scare you, isn’t it? I think there is a side to you that only you can show, nobody can do it for you. People around me have been coaxing me for years, but I do something only when I am ready for it. So now I took the plunge. If someone comes and sits in front of me and starts saying horrible things, I will say I don’t want to talk about it as it’s not constructive. I think I will have the same approach here. I simply won’t engage in such conversations. I believe that on social media or otherwise, opinions are opinions and I don’t need to counter each and every one of them.”
