You understand what is so great about Thursdays? Aside from the truth that it is the day before Friday, needless to say.

The throwbacks yes, all! And, certainly, the images on Instagram may be amusing (unless your timeline is only full of photographs from last month, where case, individuals want to freshen up on their #TBT etiquette), but we adore taking a look back to the vault to see some old school interviews.

This week we are featuring a glowing-eyed, 18-year old Kate Hudson, who had been fresh on the scene promoting her movie Ricochet River back. And even though the blonde beauty was no stranger to celebrity due to her famous parents (Hi Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell!), she describes that was not the reason she chose this career course.

It is not about the celebrity, it is not about the cash.

“And it was something that was kinda tough for me, because I did not actually get it growing up. And I began going to my acting courses, and that I began becoming dedicated to my dancing courses, and my singing lessons, and everything that kind of helps with performance.”

When it came to her movie around three teenagers attempting to escape out of their small Oregon town in the ’60s, Hudson not intimidated, and astonishingly, was clearly excited. “I came here sort of understanding what it was all about. I had not been intimidated by the set.”

She added, “We Are all here to work and create a great movie. And that is what every movie’s about.”
