ADEN: Unidentified assailants fired a missile at a hotel in Aden used by senior Yemeni government officials on Tuesday, causing a number of casualties, residents said.
The missile seemed to have already been fired in the gate of the resort, they said.
First reports had described the missiles -propelled grenades. There is no official word to verify which kind of projectile were found in the assault.
The Qasr resort continues to be the base of the authorities of Hadi since its slow return from exile over recent weeks following the expulsion of Iranian-allied Houthi combatants in July.
Troops from the United Arab Emirates have safeguarded the resort, among the members of a Saudi-led coalition that is struggling since March restore Hadi to power and to stop Houthi control of Yemen.
