Zayn’s first UK performance! SORRY Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards set for awkward reunion

As they are both billed to perform at the Capital Summertime Ball ZAYN Malik and his former fiancée Perrie Edwards are place for an awkward reunion.

The former One Direction singer is the most recent act to be added to the remarkable line-up and it will mark his first UK performance as a solo artist.

But he’ll be sharing the stage with his ex’s group Little Mix – who’ve been for some time on the bill.

Hunky vocalist Zayn called off his engagement to spectacular Perrie last August, shortly after his shock departure from One Direction.The former couple have so far managed to prevent an embarrassing run ins despite both being popular music acts.

The 23-year-old Bradford vocalist was set to come face to face at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend – at the end of May with Perrie where Little Mix are performing.

However it was reported that Zayn had pulled out for fear of see her – something which he has since denied.

A source told the Mirror earlier this year: “Zayn’s team don’t want it to become ‘a thing’ if the two of them are backstage at the same time

“It will take the shine off his performance because many people would then just talk about his past relationship. Zayn and his team really want his solo career to be all about the music.

“Once they are both at the same location on the same day, tongues will wag. And if they were to bump into each other, it would make the whole day awkward.”
