Beasts of No Nation and Goosebumps scares up US box office

There was much buzz earlier this year when Netflix announced it had purchased the distribution rights.

It was concurrently released on the streaming service as well as in theaters this weekend, but it failed to draw viewers from their houses to view it on a large screen.

It brought in only $50,699 (GBP32,800) from the 31 theaters. Results from the United Kingdom have not yet been released.

We will not understand how many folks saw it on Netflix as the business does not show its flowing bodies, but it told Deadline it was “quite happy”.
