Short film contest by Samsung once again!

The Samsung Short Film Contest will return for another year, organisers (Diff) have declared. Budding art students, filmmakers and anyone with interest in picture was called upon to enter the contest, to get an opportunity next year showing their final creation in the Short Film Corner.

In 2013, Emirati filmmaker Nayla Al Khaja will return to the ten shortlisted hopefuls as a mentor. The final pictures will probably be shown in December during Diff.

“The UAE is loaded with imagination as well as the Short Film Contest functions as a trigger to unlock this burgeoning ability.

Filmmakers in the UAE can submit first movie entries of style, music genre or any length . The works will be evaluated with a panel tabloid was told by organisers! the judges never have yet been announced. The people that are shortlisted will create short films.

Managing director said this could help start careers.

Rashid will hold some seminars to offer guidance to the filmmakers of this year.
Diff will run between 16 and December 9.
