UK airport investigation due to ‘suspicious package’

AN airport continues to be removed following a ” package ” was found in a vehicle that was parked.

Police at Kirminton, North Lincs., at Humberside Airport, stated flights were diverted along with a dog crew were to the landscape.

A police spokesman said: “Police were called at 10.45am and flights have been diverted as a precaution. The dogs team has also been drafted to the scene.

“The A18 is closed from the Melton Ross bridge and Kirmington crossroads.

“The incident is ongoing.”
