AWFUL! Qandeel Baloch, Pratyusha Banerjee, Jiah Khan–5 controversial deaths that SHOCKED the showbiz world!

As we mentioned,  the pakistani model-social media icon was murdered by her brother on Friday night 15th July. The shocking death is suspected to be a case of Honor Killing. The bold model known for her raunchy videos had been threatened by her brother over her Facebook posts and videos. The model is best known for a video where she addressed the Pakistani cricket team, stating that she would strip dance for them if they won this particular match against India. She often declared her love for politician Imran Khan. Her song Ban opposite Aryan Khan was her most recent project. Despite backlash and threatening calls, Qandeel always stood her ground.

Pratyusha Banerjee

Sweet, cordial and extremely likeable Pratyusha hanged herself in her apartment in Goregoan on April 1, yesterday night. It was hard for us to believe that the Balika Vadhu star had ended her life as it sounded as though someone is playing a cruel joke on us! Unfortunately it was not a joke and the 23 year old had indeed passed away.

Pratyusha had to take this extreme step because of a failure in her love life. Her beau Rahul Raj Singh was engaged to someone else and she could not take it. She went down the slippery slope of depression and succumbed to it, ultimately.

Jiah Khan

She stunned us with her insanely good looks. She debuted with Amitabh Bachchan no less and starred in a blockbuster Aamir Khan film! But that failed to her a professional high. Jiah was just 25 when she ended her life in 2013. Apart from professional issues, her controversial love life with the Hero star Sooraj Pancholi led her to take the final step.

Many disturbing details about the Sooraj – Jiah affair surfaced later and we were plainly disgusted by them! Jiah took her life on the fateful night of June 2, 2013 and unfortunately nor her lover or her family could save her.

Divya Bharti 

Though this incident happened way back in the 1990s, we still haven’t gotten over it. Bollywood star Divya Bharti mysteriously fell down from the fifth floor of her apartment. She was only 19! Married to a popular producer Sajid Nadiadwala, her death was both untimely and unfortunate and left the B town wondering if it indeed was suicide or murder? The question is unanswered till date.

She was the number one actress in the Amitabh Bachchan era of the Bollywood. She aquiline features, disarmingly good looks and abundant talent made her the nation’s favourite.

But destiny played a cruel joke on her and once a glamorous actress of Bollywood, she died a lonely death in her Mumbai flat in 2005. Psychological illness took better of her and the failure of her two major love affairs with Kabir Bedi and Mahesh Bhatt left her heart broken!

Her body was lying unattended for a couple of days before the neighbours got a wiff from the decaying smell and unclaimed milk botels lying outside her flat. Parveen was 55.
