Every year since 2010, Canadian musician Daniel Kim has made a yearly megamix of the largest pop songs of the year.
Dubbed “Pop Danthology” the mash ups are becoming viral hits, with the 2012 version receiving more than 70 million views on YouTube.
Yesterday evening, he unveiled the 2015 installment – which, for the first time, comes.
He explained, “With music from all over the world becoming more and more accessible, it has become increasingly more challenging to satisfy my fans and fit in all of their many favourite songs in my year-end mashup. I found myself cutting down so much of the original music [that] the resulting sound was more choppy. Although making two Danthologies took a lot more time… I feel like each Danthology has much better flow.”
