Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber made a triumphant return to the European stage at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan on Sunday, scooping five prizes at the major music event.
The vocalist, who found fame at 13 and went to develop into a pop phenomenon globaly, will release his first record in 3 years, next month.
“I don’t take any of these moments for granted,” Bieber said at the show. “That’s where I belong, right there on that stage.”
Yet several big names, additionally winners of the night, were not present at the moment.
But there were lots of fireworks, light shows and visual effects from performers like Ellie Goulding, who emerged from a bunch of mirrors to sing “Love Me Like You Do” and Jason Derulo whose dancers marched on Segways.
