Deepika Padukone’s forthcoming film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ continues to be immobilized into show controversies ahead of its official release.
A Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik has asked the Maharashtra government to prevent the launch of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s forthcoming movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Sarnaik has paid no attention and alleged that Bhansali has produced the movie just out of commercial concerns. Sarnaik claimed the Bollywood film isn’t being released in Maharashtra over India, but also in foreign nations, Bollywood life reported.
“Those that are unaware of the actions of Bajirao Peshwa, Maratha history and Marathi culture is likely to be mislead into harbouring perverted view.
Based on Indian media reports, while responding to controversies, Deepika Padukone, the leading lady of the film said, “You never make films to by choice irk anyone or to hurt people’s opinions.
The film starring Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Ranveer Singh will hit theaters on December 18.
