OMG! Here’s why Pakistan has NOT yet lifted the ban on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay
Yesterday we got a big surprise when we learned that Pakistan was set to lift the ban on Indian movies. If you recall, theatre owners and exhibitors-distributors from Pakistan decided to stop showcasing Bollywood movies in their own theatres following the Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association (IMPPA) ban on Pakistani artistes like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in India. Ranbir Kapoor was meant by that – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn‘s Shivaay would not get a release in Pakistan. Nevertheless, last evening, we discovered that Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil might just release in our neighbouring state after the ban was lifted. But, the latest update might disappoint the makers and the Pakistani fans. It is being reported the Pakistani theatre owners are currently delaying the lifting of the ban on Bollywood movies screening in the nation. Why? Well, it’s all coz of the shocking event that took place several days back. In fact, we discover that the theater owners were going to revoke the prohibition last evening, but the decision was delayed coz of the Quetta Police Training College assault, which has claimed the lives of 61 individuals till now. However, the Pakistani theatre owners might just lift the ban shortly. Even Fawad Khan’s picture is all set to be released on time, which will be why even we are looking forward to a more positive result of this whole scenario in India. So is the release of Fawad Khan’s picture in India.”
Well, we hope Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil gets a launch in Pakistan and the ban is lifted. Not only for the monetary benefit of the makers, but also coz everyone in Pakistan loves to view Bollywood films. However, the prohibition on Pakistani artiste was made permanent yesterday and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Shalini Thackeray affirmed this to us!
