People wish to see Rebecca Romijn and Carla Gugino in The Swinging Lanterns Stories

While we often see a picture becoming pronounced, then going through the usual phases, up to eventually getting released, all within a reasonably short period of time, particularly when it comes to comic book movies today, there are plenty of film jobs that get announced, yet never appear to produce any real progress, finding itself stuck in development hell, without any idea when it will ever really get made.

That brings us to the movie when it seemed like we were likely to see the planned job getting made The Swinging Lantern Stories, which was first talked about way back in 2007.

Matters started quite smoothly, together with the script being written and casting taking place. But since then, things have stalled and there hasn’t been any real progress.

Meanwhile, it had been considered that we were likely to see Hollywood actresses Rebecca Romijn and Carla Gugino starring in the film, although we don’t have any idea what’s occurring now.

There is no manager on board for the endeavor and no word of a production start date for the film while Rebecca Romijn and Carla Gugino are linked to roles in The Swinging Lantern Narratives. It does appear skeptical that we will ever get to see The Swinging Lantern Storylines get made but we will keep you posted with any progress it makes.
