Selena Gomez suffered a slight wardrobe malfunction on Tuesday (Oct. 13, 2015) when she stepped out sans bra in New York City. Clad in a skin-tight black crop top and matching skirt, the “Good for You” vocalist unexpectedly gave paparazzi an eyeful when camera flashes went off and exhibited a bit of her nipple underneath her sheer shirt.
Maybe feeling a little nippy realizing her mistake, the 23-year old later shifted into a black jumpsuit as she continued to travel throughout town to advertise her new record, Revival.
Yet, Gomez isn’t all that shy about her body these days. Irrespective of modeling topless on the cover of her latest record, the former Disney star is quite vocal about upholding a confident body image and embracing her new curves.
“This was the first year I ever dealt with anyone talking about my body,” she recently told Us Weekly, explaining that she had to see a therapist after receiving hateful comments about her weight gain. “Even if I did gain weight, I’m fine.”
“Each year, I’m becoming more who I am,” she continued. “I have a little more self-awareness. I feel confident and free. I’m not going to hide in my room and be depressed.”
