Scientist Michael Quinn and Australian amateur rugby union player has pleaded guilty to travelling to have sexual conduct with a kid.
Quinn, a player with the Melbourne Chargers and 33, considered he’d made contact with child traffickers in LA and arrived on 19 May.
He faces up to 13 years in penitentiary.
Quinn had told the agents he was discussing to online that he was interested in boys aged between 10 and five.
He was assured a party at an LA hotel with “like minded guys”, but it was really a sting operation.
“He confessed to that in court and there is actually nothing else to say [other] than this is reprehensible actions to benefit from young kids in this kind of terrible manner.”
Quinn also worked at a practice in Melbourne as geneticist along with playing rugby.
He’ll be sentenced on 3.
