Vocalist Jess Glynne’s latest track Take Me Home has been announced as the official single for the BBC Children in Need of this year.
The song goes on sale today and can help raise money for the Children in Need charity.
Glynne said: “This is a tune concerning the need to possess someone who cares when you are at your most vulnerable.
“It’s an emotional song for me and I must acknowledge it brings me to tears when I sing it live, likewise after I made the video.
It is this type of unique cause.”
BBC Children joins a long listing of famous faces who’ve lent their voices over the years to Children in Need.
In 2013 the song was Ellie Goulding Long Will I Love You, and the charity was additionally supported by Girls Aloud in 2012.
If her Children in Need single reaches the top position on the singles charts, she will make history as the very first British solo female to have had six number one singles.
Downloads of the song are immediately accessible, but hard copies will likely be released on 13 November.
