At least 19 people including two children were killed in a truck in Faisalabad and a crash between a passenger bus officials said.
The injury occurred near the town of Theekriwala in Punjab province due to “speeding and reckless driving”, senior police official Afzaal Ahmed Khosa told AFP.“Nineteen passengers including two girls and two kids were killed,” Khosa said.
Dr Naeem Hashmi, who works in the Allied Hospital in Faisalabad city that was nearby, said 15 injured individuals were being treated in the emergency section.
Two of them were in a critical affliction. Pakistan comes with an appalling road safety record as a result of poor roads, badly maintained reckless driving and vehicles.
