Rescuers are combing through mangled wreck after a train derailed in the northern Uttar Pradesh state of India. Though reports said a course break or track fracture could be the reason of deadly crash. Train injuries are pretty common in India, where most of the trains and tracks are out of the order. The railway ministry released a list of names of passengers that were wounded. Out of the 131 listed, 58 were said to be “grievously injured”. Earlier reports quoted officials as saying more than 150 people were injured. Two buggies are totally smashed up beyond recognition. Other passenger cars are hanging off the tracks. Personal effects of passengers – water bottles, bags, clothing – are strewn around the area. I am able to see the red dress of a girl hanging off the roof of a buggy. Officials are saying that those caught in the debris are likely dead by now. There are two giant cranes attempting to remove passenger luggage etc and it has been confirmed that there are no bodies inside.
