Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has maintained that neither the police nor the government could prevent him from holding a protest in Islamabad on November 2.

“You cannot stop the myriad of PTI workers on Nov 2, ” Imran told reporters questioning if the state had been run by democracy or monarchy. “I inquire Nawaz Sharif if he is a leader that is democratic or a king as he has resorted to arrest and violence of PTI workers, flouting Islamabad High Court orders.”

He included, “I need to tell the judiciary that they are on trial. Their orders aren’t being implemented”.
Imran said till I breathe my last” he will fight for Nawaz’s answerability “.

The PTI chief warned the authorities against resorting to any prohibited means.

As he was on his way to Bani Gala meanwhile, vocalist Salman Ahmed was arrested in Islamabad.

According to Express News, the ruling party in Gujranwala allegedly assaulted PTI workers. Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) members threw eggs on the marching PTI workers.

Earlier, as PTI and Awami Muslim League (AML) vowed to go ahead with their planned protests against the authorities, police and opposition activists clashed at Rawalpindi’s Committee Chowk near the Lal Haveli dwelling of Sheikh Rashid.
