SHOCKING! Raees Actress Mahira Khan and ADHM Actor Fawad Khan are completely BANNED from giving interviews
Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan have been banned since the past few weeks. Both Fawad and Mahira along with the other Pakistani artistes have been prohibited from working in India by IMPPA (Indian Motion Pictures Producers’ Association) in the aftermath of the devastating Uri strikes. The industry needed to show its support to the Indian government and thus the ban was imposed on them. But that wasn’t the end of things for them. Fawad, Mahira and Ali Zafar were slammed by various journalists, people and even political parties for failing to condemn the assaults. About why they didn’t speak up about the attacks questions were raised the situation looks messy now, and though Mahira and Fawad later went on to share posts condemning the assault.
In reality, reports suggested that Exhibitors Association and the Cinema Owners have decided that they’ll NOT screen any film with Pakistani artists, not even in single screens. There won’t be any exception in this situation and this boycott will be appropriate on ALL pictures that have Pakistani celebrities, musicians, technicians irrespective of whether they’ve been shot or are being shot! Nonetheless, after talks with the state government and Karan Johar, they have struck a deal. However, looks like the makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have given out specific directions to Fawad, Imran Abbas Naqvi (he can also be a component of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and Mahira Khan. But what are these particular instructions?
Our source EXCLUSIVELY discloses to us, “The makers of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees have prohibited Fawad, Imran and Mahira. All the three stars have been given clear directions that everywhere they go, they’ll be asked about the issue (the prohibition on Pakistani artistes in India) but they should prevent it. The truth is, the makers have told them to not connect to the media because they don’t desire their (Fawad or Mahira’s) viewpoint be misconstrued, which may spoil things further.”
Well, looks like the makers of Raees and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have a valid point. Lots of times, celebrities mean something, but their view is portrayed in a specific style that is distinct. And if this occurs, things will get worse for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees. Sadly we won’t get an opportunity to interview Fawad and Mahira before the launch of the respective films. Anyway, hopefully the release of the films is really smooth and everything gets sorted out shortly.
